a great day of recording
we finished the lead vocal for 2 new songs today, we still have to do b vox and some guitars, then we're gonna mix these last 4 songs (hopefully by the end of next week)

I've cancelled our waldbuehne.ch page.. here's why
wearedust and 500 other bands were down with a chance to play at the gurtenfestival, here in CH in the summer

I decided to take our page off for a few reasons.
1. I know this is Switzerland and no one takes us seriously, but 95% of the stuff that's there is crap. I can remember an email sent to us by the organizer of the festival in 2001, telling us our demo CD was the best thing his office had received in months. This is the same guy who has now fallen into the "trial by voting" mentality that seems to have pervaded life a bit.
2. I just don't want to be associated with all that crap. What we're doing IS BETTER THAN THAT
3. I don't want to feel that I am "competing" with 499 other bands, (good or crap) I still do have a bit of the "we're all in this together" mentality
Anyway, blah blah blah, rant rant, etc etc
